the artist

I’m Wiktoria Anna, a watercolour artist based in Newcastle upon Tyne.

For many years my career looked very different. I trained and worked in law before realising that the path I had chosen was not the one that truly inspired me. In 2023 I made the decision to step away from that career and build a creative life centred around art.

Watercolour has always been the medium that drew me in. I love the unpredictability of water, the softness of colour, and the way a painting slowly develops through layers and movement. My work is inspired by landscapes, open skies, and quiet moments in nature that invite us to pause.

What began as a personal creative practice gradually grew into something much bigger. Today, alongside creating my own paintings, I run watercolour workshops and creative sessions designed to make painting approachable and enjoyable for everyone.

Many people who attend my sessions have not painted since childhood. Watching someone realise they can create something beautiful with watercolour is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

My mission is simple. I want to help people slow down, enjoy the creative process, and discover that painting can be both relaxing and deeply fulfilling.

Through my artwork and workshops, I hope to bring a little more beauty, creativity, and calm into everyday life.
