Step 1. Sketch out the coffee cup and the saucer. Use what you’ve got on your table. I used the inside of the tape and the circle stencils (54,46 and 40).

Step 2. Mix the colour, I used a blue green colour. Use any colour you wish. I then used the wet on dry technique to paint the rim of the cup and the handle. I left a small white mark on the handle to represent light coming in from the right.

Step 3. Mix a brown - mix orange first and then add a touch of blue to it. Use the same technique to paint the most inner circle of the cup. Leave white spots to represent light.

While the paper is still wet ad more dark brown to the right hand side.

Step 4. Use the same technique to add blue to the saucer.

Step 5. Use the same technique add a background. Leave the rim of the cup white.

Step 6. Add another layer to the rim of the cup and the coffee.

Step 7. Add light shadow to the saucer - I used a blue violet colour.

Step 8. Add a light brown layer to the inside of the cup.

Step 9. Add a darker blue outer layer around the left side of the saucer.

Step 10. Wait for the previous layer to dry and then add a darker blue layer like in the photo. All finished!
