I created Pigment & Paper because I know how many people love the idea of painting but don’t necessarily want a structured class. When I started painting, I craved time and space to explore at my own pace, without pressure or step-by-step instruction. That’s exactly what I want to offer you too.

This is not a class. Not a course.
Just time to paint, play, and reconnect with your creativity in a warm and welcoming space.

Each session includes access to:

  • Use of professional-quality watercolour paints and a selection of artist-grade papers

  • Access to extra inspiration like my watercolour e-book and a small selection of art books

  • A welcoming, informal atmosphere with gentle support available if you’d like it

Pricing

Each session is £12 and includes all materials.
Booking is essential, as places are limited and materials are prepared in advance.

Pigment & Paper now has a dedicated Facebook Group for regular participants. It’s a relaxed, supportive space to share your work, connect with others, take part in monthly painting challenges, and help choose new colours and books for the sessions.  FAQs

  • Not exactly. Pigment & Paper is a relaxed, self-directed painting session. Light guidance is available if you'd like it, but you're free to paint however you wish. There will also be a small collection of art books available, including step-by-step resources you can explore at your own pace during the session.

  • No experience is needed. Beginners are very welcome. It's also great for anyone returning to painting after a break or more experienced painters who want a space to experiment.

  • All materials are provided, including a range of quality papers and professional watercolours. If you have a favourite brush, you're welcome to bring it with you.

  • For the paint - you will have access to over 35 different colours from various brands including Sennelier, Daniel Smith and ShinHan.

    For the paper - you will have access to various textures from brands like Arches and Fabriano.

  • Booking is required. Spaces are limited and materials are prepared in advance.

  • If you let me know in advance, I’ll do my best to move your booking to another session, depending on availability. While I can’t offer refunds, you're welcome to give your place to a friend.
